Camping Trip (16-17 Dec 08)

On the 16th till 17th Dec, a couple of us (Andre, Helena, Joachim, Aunty Annie, Carina, Adrian, Gregsson, William, Benny, Brian, Jacky) went camping in Pantai Keracut (I think that's how they spell it). It was awesome. It is my first time camping, seriously. And it was FUN! And tiring. Okay okay, let's start from the beginning. We had to wake up at 6. Andre gave Greg, Jack and me a lift to church where the rest were waiting. Our eyes were so tired and most of us were falling asleep. Had breakfast and we were off for a so called 40 minute hike to the beach which with us slow coaches, took one hour and fourty minutes. We were carrying roti canai and loaves of bread and... luggages... You know the drill. IT WAS HARD! Heavy things

Greg was carrying one big ice box with ice, sparkling wine, sausages and all, woosh. When we finally reached the beach, the first half of them actually sang 'Deck the Halls' on the top of their lungs. We were just so relieved that we reached thaty most actually sank into the beach and slept (mainly the adults). We had sandwiches for lunch and set up the tents.

Yeah, but... the man in charge there told us we couldn't park our behinds there so we had to slowly pack things up and move to some secluded spot behing where no wind could be found. Okay, not that dramatic. Before that, Brian killed a nearly dead jellyfish. With the stick William brought with him. Brian actually broke it into a few pieces.

BEFORE IN BETWEEN AFTER

After that, we went to swimming in the river. The water was super cold and refreshing. All of us had fun splashing water at each other. Funny. And i took my phone there (at the risk of wetting it) and managed to get the only pics of the gang in the river. MUAHAHA.

That wasnt even the end of the day... We started a fire and heated up the roti canai and other food. That evening, we played captain ball in the sand till it was dinner. Spegetthi. YUM. Yeah, It started raining at night and we had to stay in the canoe shack. That night, Benny kena stung by something and we kind of panic for a little while. Thankfully, he was alright. We (Carina, Greg, William, Jack and me) Didn't sleep that night. We stayed up and talk the whole way while watching for shooting stars. In the morning, we had a power nap for like one hour and started to pack things up and had maggie mee for breakie. Lol. Not enough seasoning for everyone, had to share. Finally, it was time to go home.. Sob. Not till we took a speedboat home. Thank God we didn't have to hike or most of us (mostly the sleep deprived) will just die on the way.
That was pretty much the whole camping trip. Some of us (me included) fell asleep in the car on the way to lunch at MCD. That's a wrap!

Besides that, I love writing stories. I'm currently writing a story based on life. My life, to be exact. My experiences throughout the short span of my life. My feelings and in a way, my advice to the rest of my peers. Though, half of it is based on imagination and others experiences. When i have the time, i pledge myself to upload to my blog. LOL.

Anyways, I love GOD and I trully believe in him. I LOVE going to church. And I love participating in it.

So that's all for my first post. Updates will come soon. Cheers!
